| Work was collected for exhibition/sale at the Magical Muse Gallery in Cookeville, 9 - 19 December 2008. |
| Noreen briefly spoke about the kids programs at the Craft Center, then requested $400 for next year’s programs, which was unanimously approved. |
| A letter was sent to City Scape regarding the poor placement of the craft booths for the Fun Fest. |
| Alice Maiwald announced that Upper Cumberland Arts Alliance received a $10,000 grant to produce a cultural and art inventory that will survey artists and craftspeople in 14 counties for a database that will show how art is tied to economic development. She requested that everyone fill out the survey that will be sent out in January. |
| We had elections for the 2009 year. The results are as follows: President: Jeanne Brady; Vice-President: Cheryl Ludwig; Treasurer: Noreen Grisolano; Secretary: Laurie Hall; Board Reps: Kim Winkle and Susan Thornton. |
| Andrzej needs the officers and anyone else who has volunteered any hours for the Highland Rim Chapter to submit a summary of the activity (who, what and how many hours). TACA uses these activities to obtain grant monies for the year. Please submit report to agutek@tntech.edu. |

Member's pages can accommodate pictures up to 800 pixels/72 dpi. Jpeg is the best format, but all types of photos and prints are OK. |
| Board Meeting Report: Tim Hintz reported that the TACA workshop on Feb 21st would focus on Digital Photography and take place at The Craft Center. This workshop will help people prepare images of their work for upcoming TACA Fairs and other applications, which are going digital. Tim also said that the Biannual Exhibition, which has been on hiatus, is on its way back. |

Merrit Ireland is putting together a calendar of month-long solo exhibitions and is looking for people who are willing to exhibit. There is no insurance and little security, but it's an opportunity to share art with the community the info is: earthextensions@hotmail.com, 526-9967 or 349-2083. - Susan Thornton has opened a gallery in Historic Watertown and is looking for work to place in the gallery. The work is insured and the commission is a 60/40 with 60% paid to the artist.
